Spring General Meeting, April 25, 2013
The 51st General Meeting of CUPARUC was held on Thursday, April 25 at the Loyola campus. Besides various reports, the current slate of officers was re-elected by acclamation. The minutes of this meeting will only be available publicly once they have been approved at the next Meeting, which is scheduled for October 24, 2013. Rita De Santis, Member of the National Assembly, presented a very interesting talk on the experience of being a first-time MNA. More information may follow.
Fall General Meeting: October 31, 2012
The Fall General Meeting of CUPA/ARUC was held on Wednesday, October 31 in H-767 at 10:00. Our guest speaker was the new president of the University, Alan Shepard. Spring General Meeting: April 26, 2012

Our guest speaker was Amy Fish, of Maimonides Home, who spoke about how to complain effectively. There was the usual refreshments and fellowship.

Spring General Meeting: April 28, 2011
The Spring General Meeting was held on Thursday, April 28 in HB-130 on the Loyola campus. Here are the minutes of this meeting. Of particular note was the selection of a new president, based on the recommendations of the Nominating Committee. Bill Knitter will take over from Graham Martin as of June 1. Graham Martin' Letter of Resignation remains available, as does the document describing the Role of the President.

Doug Lightfoot gave a very interesting talk on the critical importance of our energy supply and the realistic options for meeting future needs. More Information on his talk can be found at www.nobodysfuel.com. He has permitted us to share his latest updates, which allow us to cut through the hype and rumour about the recent Japanese nuclear disaster. That portion of his slide show, and the accompanying commentary, are hereby presented in Pdf format.

The Annual General Meeting was held on April 29 at 10:00 in room HC-112 on the Loyola Campus. The guest speaker was human-rights lawyer Pearl Eliadis. See Pictures from the meeting. The minutes of this meeting are now available.
